Roof Types
There are a few different Roof Types We Deal with
We deal with a few different roof types. There are also some we do not deal with. We prefer to talk about what we do, talking about the best and ignoring what is second best.
Different roof types fit different personalities or building structures.
Tiled Roofing
Some people love the classic look of red-tiled roofing. Therefore they plan their house colours to complement their red-tiled roof. You need to care for those tiles. You should keep them clean and free of moss or lichen.
Concrete Roof Tiles
Concrete Roof tiles are very strong. They have that one big thing going for them. However, you need to ensure they are installed correctly. Otherwise, they will deteriorate over time and end up with an extremely shorter lifespan than intended. You need to treat them with care whilst transporting them too. Concrete roof tiles can also break easily in transit.
Colorbond Roofing
Other people love the sound of the rain on their Colorbond roofing. They find it relaxing sitting in their home on a rainy day cozy and warm listening to the rainfall on their roof. It can even help a person fall asleep easier.
Polycarbonate Roofing
There are areas of the house which require a special touch, that’s where polycarbonate roofing comes into the picture. It’s an excellent option for the roof of your patio or decking area. Polycarbonate roofing is commonly used due to the amount of light it will allow to stream into a room.
Polycarbonate Roofing is not usually used for an entire roof (I would suggest this is due to the total price). However, it is great for areas of your roof which you would like to get lots of light through to the room below.
The biggest drawback when it comes to polycarbonate roofing is the price. It’s often quite a big jump from the more conventional roof types.
